Since 2017, the National Student Championships has showcased individual student athletes at the highest level. The Nationals offers disciplines ITF Patterns, ITF Sparring, WT Poomsae & WT Sparring, alongside the team Titan Cup event for all UK and Irish University Students and Alumni. The event attracts competitors from all styles of Taekwon-Do, with full matted areas and a unique set up, this is one of our most prestigious events. The Nationals welcomes competitors from over 50 different Institutions each year, across England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, a first for University based Taekwon-Do. The event caters for all grades and levels, offering a fair and safe opportunity for those new to competing as well as experienced higher grade athletes. The Nationals alternates each year with the Universty World Championships, but the Titan Cup features every academic year.

We strive to make our events affordable, reasonable and student friendly, ensuring the Nationals is as inclusive and accessible as possible. Entry is a one off fee that includes all events and personal insurance cover for each competitor. Competitors can enter ITF Patterns, WT Poomsae, ITF Sparring and WT Sparring divisions at the National Student Championships. The 2025 Nationals is a special 10th Anniversary Edition and will take place on Saturday 8th February 2025 at the Mattioli Arena, Leicester. Full rules and regulations for 2025 are available below.
