This event is a very special championship, set up to fundraise for the UK's Student National Squad. It will be a return to Junior competitions for us at BUTL since 2019 and is open to all ages 4 years to 17 years. Cadet categories are ages, 4-6 years, 7-9 years, 10-12 years and Junior categories are 13-15 years and 16-17 years. All breakdowns of categories can be found below in the BUTL Juniors Rules and Regulations document. All proceeds will go towards helping students compete internationally at the end of this year, each attendee will recved a thank you booklet included in their entry. As it's a fundraising event there will be opportunities to get involved in extra acrtivities on the day, making the championship an even more exciting experience for everyone.

We strive to make our events affordable, reasonable and friendly, ensuring all championships are as inclusive and accessible as possible. Entry is a one off fee of £25, this includes all events and personal insurance cover for each competitor. Coaches and spectators are free. Competitors can enter individual Pattern and Sparring divisions.. The 2023 BUTL Juniors Championship includes Individual ITF Patterns, Individual ITF Sparring.
